As Rick's brother Trent and his friend are snowmobiling across a large open lake, they get shot at by a mysterious trapper in the woods, killing the friend and forcing Trent to run and seek Rick's aid. Rick collects a group the next day to pick up the frozen body on the lake, but is cut shorthis brother decides to chase and find the Mad Trapper.
